Nature is an artist. All you need is a good imagination and images comes alive.
When I do my walks during the day and take a camera (this one is from a mirror less Nikon1 V1, oldie but still good) I get side tracked taking photos of old trees because I find the textures fascinating and if you look closer you can make up images from the textures. I love how the light and shadow comes together.
These images are great for adding texture on your photographs as well.
