One morning I woke up feeling like I was hit by a bus, my body was aching, my head was spinning. I felt like I had been drinking the night before but, I wasn’t. I haven’t drunk alcohol for a while. So, I am certain that what I’m experiencing is not a hangover. Days before that, my anger is uncontrollable. I felt that I almost get angry at anything very quickly. I had very bad mood swings. That morning I decided to see a doctor, find out what is causing this lightheadedness, mood swings and tiredness. Tests were done and Hoooray! I got diabetes. At first, they were not sure if I’m Type 1 or Type 2 but, now I am definitely Type 2. The good news is it can be controlled by diet and exercise.
So, I’m picking a fight against this Type 2 Diabetes and I’m encouraging anyone who has the same type as me, let us control this health issue by eating healthier food and exercise. Together we can help each other out when motivation is down when you have no idea what to eat when you feel you are alone fighting to get the sugar level down.
