A country wedding photographer

The web is saturated with photographers who blog, some are good, some are really good! I must admit I am one of those who is hoping to be recognized online although some might say that they just want to share their photos and their story but who doesn’t want to be famous? to be followed by millions like the celebrities? I do for sure! otherwise why would I put my stuff online? It’s called online marketing, seriously tho I want to build my brand, I’d love to be a household name but I really find it hard to keep going. My goal was simple, I want “esplana” to be on Google’s first page when someone searches for a wedding photographer and with all these technology you really need to be disciplined so you don’t get too get distracted, ahh these distractions! Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook they are everywhere. I also feel that sometimes I am doing all the following and no one is following me back, this online marketing is hard work, I’m giving you the tip. I spent time reading about SEO and boy it’s like swimming endlessly, information is everywhere, you won’t know where to start and no one ever tell you what to do to get you started (properly) you have to learn it the hard way, even the basic of it seems complicated.

So, if you are just starting out and want online presence, make sure that you have a lot of patience. Brand are not built in days, weeks or months. It takes years unless, your marketing budget, well… budgeted. But if you are doing it yourself like me, with just time, long nights and a lot of patience, then you are not alone, I am here with you every step of the way we are on this together (sounds like a song). Finding a niche is not that easy either but if you focus on one of many photography genre you are off to a good start, keep up the good work. I picked wedding photography because that’s what I do most of the time and I want to breath and live wedding photography, I want to be the best at it. I guess you want that too? If you read this far that’s a good thing, a good sign for me. It means that you are looking for answers, secret revelations that you might just get at the end of this post. guess what? that’s what most of the blogs I’ve read they take you right to the end, and tell you absolutely nothing!  (sweet FA as most Aussie would tell yah) and you feel like saying “damn! I wasted my time reading that” and you gained zero knowledge, you are still at the same spot as you were when you started reading the post. And then you move on to the next one and you find the same thing, same feeling. So, that’s my story some days. What’s yours? Oh, and if you are not a writer like me? please invest on learning how to write better blogs. A blog that is interesting, a blog that is engaging, now if you know how to write just about everything then you are again doing it better than who doesn’t even try to write or doesn’t know how to write.

You see, I am trying and if I wrote my sentences really bad then I call anyone who would correct it for me, educate me, write it on the comments found below this post. Message me, DM me on Twitter, email me, anything, just contact me. OK?!, I’m out.
